Dr. Phan received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.  He was accepted into the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas where he received is doctorate in medicine.  Dr. Phan completed his residency at UTMB, before completing his Fellowship in the hand surgery training program at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Phan went into private practice in 2001.  He is one of the leading hand surgeons in the Southwest Houston and Fort Bend areas.  Dr. Phan is one of the team physicians for Alief Independent School District.  Dr. Phan has privileges at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, Doctor’s Surgical Center, Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, Sugar Land Surgical Hospital, and West Houston Medical Center.  Dr Phan practices at both the Beechnut location in Houston and our main location on Brooks Street.
